What is Vendor Report in RADAR?
The Vendor Report in RADAR is a comprehensive document designed for your DDoS mitigation vendors. It provides simulation results, identified vulnerabilities, and detailed findings within your environment based on the selected filters. The report includes all technical details required for the vendor’s investigation. It also provides prioritized action items for your vendor and can be generated and downloaded at any time, with the option to display data relevant to a specific mitigation layer.
What You'll Learn on This Page:
On this page, you’ll learn how to generate and interpret the RADAR DDoS Vendor Report. You’ll discover the report’s key components, how the vendor should act on its findings, and how to pinpoint areas where your mitigation strategy can be strengthened
Generating and Reviewing the Vendor Report
Follow these steps to generate your DDoS Vendor Report in the RADAR platform:
- In the left-hand navigation menu, click Reports.
- Select Vendor Report.
- Use the filters to select the data you want to include in the report. You can also select the Screenshot option to attach relevant screenshots to the report.
- Click the Generate button.
- In the generated report table, click Download Report to export the report.

Review the Vendor Report
The MazeBolt RADAR Vendor Report is organized into 6 sections, each shows a different aspect of your DDoS posture and remediation status. In the following section, we review each one in turn so you can quickly understand the insights provided and identify any necessary action items.
-
High-Level Summary Overview
This section provides a snapshot of your organization’s DDoS posture as measured by RADAR, reflecting the specific date range and filters you’ve applied. It summarizes overall simulation outcomes and automated mitigation rates, identifies any remaining vulnerabilities, and outlines your remediation objectives along with the target vulnerability gap.
- DDoS Gap
In this section, you'll see Table 1 – Filtered DDoS GAP Analysis, which offers a view of the mitigation performance based on the selected filters. The table displays the total number of simulations results and classifies each outcome as Protected, Partially Protected, or Vulnerable. It presents both the raw counts for each status and their corresponding percentages. Directly beneath, the Filters Applied to This Report’s Data section lists the active filters, clarifying exactly which data subset has been included in the report. - Avoiding Blind Spots - MazeBolt's Recommendation
This section is divided into two parts: MazeBolt’s Recommendation and Vendor Action Items. The recommendations clearly outline the essential validation steps, confirming RADAR’s visibility into every security layer and all Targets to ensure your environment is fully covered. Below, the vendor action items list the key tasks your mitigation partner must complete to address any remaining gaps.

High-Level Focused Vulnerability Summary
This section delivers two visualizations of your vulnerabilities based on the applied filters. These graphs offer a concise view of where your vendor should focus your next mitigation efforts.
- Top 5 Most Vulnerable Attack Vectors
This bar chart ranks the top five attack vectors by the number of vulnerable Targets, so your vendor can instantly see which vectors pose the greatest risk. - Vulnerabilities by OSI Layer
This pie chart breaks down the vulnerabilities by OSI layer (layer 3, 4, 7) enabling your vendor to assign remediation to the right teams.
A single unaddressed vulnerability can bring down your entire infrastructure in a real-world DDoS attack.

Detailed Attack Simulation Results - based on filters applied
This section provides a comprehensive breakdown of all simulations that match your selected filters. The table includes:
- Attack Vector - The specific vector used in the simulation.
- Target and Port - The exact resource and destination port tested.
- Traffic Metrics - The amount of traffic sent during the simulation and the portion that successfully bypassed mitigation.
- Protection Status - The current classification of each result (Protected, Partially Protected, Vulnerable and Unchecked).
This detailed view gives your mitigation vendor all the information needed to reproduce the issue, diagnose the root cause, and plan remediation actions.

Graphic Examples of DDoS Simulations
This section provides a breakdown of each simulation run in a more detailed way. It specify each simulation key data:- Attack Type
- Simulation Time
- Target
- Result
- Security Layer
- Total Traffic Sent
- Received Total
- Attack Rate
The Attack Rate and Response Time graphs display how your defenses performed throughout the simulation. These visualizations help identify performance anomalies and make it easier to correlate mitigation behavior with the simulation timeline.
- MazeBolt RADAR - DDoS Threat Detection 24x7
This section highlights that RADAR continuously validates your live production environment against 150 DDoS attack vectors around the clock and without any maintenance windows. It automatically confirms which attacks are mitigated and flags any gaps, then delivers pinpointed recommendations (backed by our technical team) so you can make the smallest changes for the biggest drop in risk. - About MazeBolt
MazeBolt ensures business continuity for global enterprises by validating their DDoS defenses – without the need for maintenance windows. RADAR’s core patented technology continuously runs thousands of nondisruptive simulations, allowing organizations to identify and remediate critical vulnerabilities in their DDoS defenses and configurations, This results in measurable reduction in DDoS risk and stronger regulatory compliance – while preventing the operational, reputational, and financial damages caused by DDoS attacks.
